What turned me off from Christianity was when I had a vision so real to me that it made me cry. And then I go to my mom and she goes to some pastor. And instead of a congratulations from the pastor she changes my mom to tell me that it is dangerous to go to the bible for answers and that I need a trained person to read the text. Maybe the bible is outdated. Maybe it was meant for back then. Maybe they didn’t think it would be used centuries later. So I do believe in God and Jesus from that vision. I believe there is a force. I don’t believe in a heaven or a hell at this moment in time. And the thought of reincarnation is a thought that is old enough for me. It’ll put me to sleep at night. I’m not lazy. I’ll finish in his lifetime what I can. I’m not pushing anything until the next lifetime. I have to be fulfilled in this one. Reincarnation, I’ve thought about several times. But I always shied away from it because it scared me I believe something other than Christianity. So fuck it. I do what I can by myself. That’s Protestantism. That’s what they were trying for. But could never succeed in. I’m going to do that. Thanks church for helping me believe in a force you call God. But I’m talking to him my way. No confessions. No priests to tell me how to believe. No elders. No pastors. No nothing. Share your knowledge with me some other way.
